MIPELON™ XM-220 by Mitsui Chemicals improves the sliding property and abrasion resistance. It is an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) grade with spherical powder shape, low friction and narrow particle size distribution. It exhibits high mechanical properties, uniform dispersion, innovative processability and high durability. It is a halogen-free, easy to mold grade. MIPELON™ XM-220 decreases the coefficient of friction. Also, displays matteness, superb processability, high chemical resistance and low to none water absorption. It is designed for acrylic and urethane-based paints and coating materials. Also, used in lubricant-, matte- and tactile modifier coating applications. It is food contact acceptable.
