Propylmatte 31

Propylmatte 31 by Micro Powders is a tough, high molecular weight, micronized polypropylene wax. Imparts burnish, abrasion resistance and non-slip properties. It provides consistent gloss reduction with no effect on coating viscosity. In powder coatings, gives texture in low bake (Low E). Propylmatte 31 is used in water-based and solvent-based industrial- (including plastic, metal and leather), wood-, coil coatings, architectural wall and trim paints, stains, sealers and varnishes as well as printing inks and OPV's (including flexo and gravure). Propylmatte 31 has an additional level of 2.0 - 5.0%.
