Polyblend 100XF

Polyblend 100XF by Micro Powders is a blend of high density polyethylene and PTFE wax. Imparts excellent rub resistance and hardness usually associated with polyethylene, along with the lubricity (slip) provided by PTFE. Each of the components are designed to provide properties for optimum performance when incorporated into printing inks, paints and coatings. Polyblend 100XF is used in flexo, gravure, web offset-heat set, sheet fed (quick set), ultra violet, metal decorating printing inks, coil coatings, industrial paints or finishes and all types of overprint varnishes. Especially effective in improving apparent adhesion and scratch resistance of flexographic, gravure inks on non-porous substrates as well as in high solids/low energy heat set inks where maximum abrasion resistance is required.
