Microspersion® 91E

Microspersion® 91E is a non-ionic waterborne emulsion of a high melting point polypropylene copolymer. Imparts non-slip characteristics. It has a melting point of 157°C and a penetration hardness of less than 1.0. It is often used in conjunction with a high density polyethylene emulsion to optimize rub and burnish resistance while maintaining coefficient of friction and gloss. It is recommended as an additive to water based coatings, where a high degree of slip resistance is required. Used in waterborne floor finishes, printing inks and OPV’s where gloss and clarity are required. Additions of from 3-15% of Microspersion® 91E will produce non-slip coatings without affecting the gloss or clarity of the film.
