BLS® 1710

Benzotriazole. Acts as an ultraviolet light absorber (UVA) in many coatings. Provides good light stability for plastics, other organic polymers and organic pigments, thermal stability to processing temperatures as high as 600F, very good resistance to oxidizing and reducing agents and little or no initial color to substrates. Offers high degree of photostability, and synergistic performance with other stabilizers. Possesses low, oral and dermal toxicity. Exhibits antioxidant and thermal stabilization properties.
