Polytetrafluoroethylene. Acts as a surface conditioner or texturing agent. Provides improved moisture repellency, corrosion inhibition, gloss matting, surface smoothness and slip-, wear-, abrasion- as well as blocking resistance. It is a white micro-powder PTFE of low molecular weight produced by thermal degradation. Possesses low surface energy and low flammability. Also possesses low friction and improved thermal as well as rub resistance for toner applications. Used for lithographic-, gravure- and flexographic inks applications.
