Polymeric ethoxylaed. Acts as a levelling agent and wetting agent. Provides improved viscosity control properties. It is a non-ionic fluorosurfactant. Due to its extremely low surface tension, it is more efficient than hydrocarbon as well as silicone surfactants and can be used for wetting surfaces which are impossible to wet out. Also due to the presence of the fluorinated chain, it is more stable (thermally and chemically) and fit for harsh as well as extreme conditions than hydrocarbon surfactants. Exhibits low foaming properties, high thermal stability and high flash point. It reduces surfaces defects and improves anti-fogging, anti-corrosion, emulsifying as well as spreading properties. Used for water-borne as well as solvent-borne graphic arts and varnishes. Its typical dosage ranges from 0.05-0.3%.
