PowderAdd™ 9061

PowderAdd™ 9061 by Lubrizol is a micronized amide wax. It provides improved surface slip and mar resistance without generating haze at standard dosage levels. It is used to avoid pinholes caused by trapped air on metal substrates. It acts as a processing aid during powder production. It improves air release from critical metal substrates during curing process. PowderAdd™ 9061 is used in powder coatings resin systems based on epoxy, polyester, epoxy/polyester hybrids and urethane. It is also used in performance coatings. Usage level is 0.2-0.5% based on total formulation rate. The recommended re-test date is 730 days after date of manufacturing.
