Lanco™ TF 1720

Lanco™ TF 1720 by Lubrizol is a micronized & classified polytetrafluoroethylene modified polyethylene wax. It offers increased scratch resistance and slip in solvent-based coatings. It does not tend to agglomeration and is thus very easily dispersible. It shows excellent hardness and good metal marking resistance. It exhibits very good surface smoothness by decreasing coefficient of friction. It can be used in industrial metal coatings such as can-, coil- and powder coatings. It is recommended for wood coatings, UV cured coatings and overprint varnishes, flexo and gravure inks. It is compatible with acrylics, polyurethanes, epoxies, polyesters, hybrid systems, N/C and N/C combination finishes and alkyds. The dosage level of the grade is 0.5 - 2.0% based on total formulation. The re-test date of Lanco™ TF 1720 is 1825 days after date of manufacturing.
