Micronized polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Used to provide very high and consistent level of slip and abrasion resistance in a wide range of aqueous and non-aqueous resin systems. Offers very low coefficient of friction and very fine particle size distribution. Provides high-temperature stability, good scratch resistance, good surface smoothness and very good rub resistance. Recommended for applications such as coil, industrial and foil coatings based on acrylics, nitrocellulose and polyurethanes.
