Ircogel™ 955

Ircogel™ 955 by Lubrizol is calcium sulfonate. Acts as a rheological control additive for solvent-based and high-solids coatings. Offers very good sag resistance. Controls sag and settling in solvent-borne coatings by creating a more shear-thinning rheological behavior. Enhances performance of many other rheology control additives. It reduces pigment settling and eliminates cratering. Exhibits no adverse impact on final film properties. Ircogel™ 955 is used in wood, marine, automotive OEM and refinish, heavy duty protective, and industrial coatings.
