Carbosperse™ K-XP228

Carbosperse™ K-XP228 by Lubrizol is a partially neutralized, water soluble carboxy-functional copolymer. It is designed for use as a pigment and particle dispersant. It offers high pigment loading at low dispersion viscosity, improved dispersion and particle size stability through steric stabilization. It shows improved compatibility with wide variety of resins and binders. It is effective for dispersion of silica and silicate-based pigments and particles. Carbosperse™ K-XP228 is recommended for water-based dispersion and stabilization of inorganic pigments and particles in slurry & colorant. It is used in production of architectural paints, industrial paints, paper coatings and printing inks. The recommended dosage level is 1-2%.
