Matt hardener SA550 by Lu'An Jietonda New Material is a glycidyl containing solid acrylic resin. It is designed for exterior durable carboxyl functional polyester powder coatings to provide low gloss of <5%(60°) and excellent weather-resistance. Some cure catalysts such as 2-phenyl-imidazoline and quaternary ammonium salts may improve coatings mechanical and surface performance in SA550 system. Recommended dosage is 75/25 [resin to SA550] for pure polyester resin with AV ca.34mg KOH/g. Matt hardener SA550 has a shelf life of 2 years.
