Accelerator SA316

Special quaternary ammonium compound. Acts as a curing accelerator for powder coatings based on epoxy, epoxy/polyester hybrid and polyester/TGIC to improve curing performance. It may also be used as an internal catalyst for carboxyl terminated polyester resin to provide lower cure temperature or shorter baking time. Imparts better catalytic activity and thermal stability when compared the quaternary ammonium salt compounds now widely used. It free flowing, non-hygroscopic crystalline solid. The use level is 0.05-0.5% by total weights of formulation.
