Preventol® D 7 by LANXESS is a versatile, easy to use, isothiazolinones-based preservative. It is used for the preservation of aqueous coatings. It offers broad spectrum of activity against bacteria, including formaldehyde-resistant species, fungi, yeast & algae. This additive possesses low acute toxicity. It is stable over pH range of 2.5-9.0. The shelf life of Preventol® D 7 is one year.
