SpeedCure EHA

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Lambson (Sartomer)
SpeedCure EDB by Lambson (Sartomer) is an 2-ethylhexyl-4-(dimethylamino) benzoate. Acts as an efficient amine synergist. When used in conjunction with Type II photoinitiators, it generates free radicals that initiate photo-polymerization of suitable resin formulations. Exhibits the capability of dissolving Speedcure ITX (~30% w/v at 20°C). Possesses low volatility, low freezing point and ability to add amine synergist and initiator as a single liquid. Acts as useful solvent in UV formulations and is insoluble in water. SpeedCure EDB is recommended for wood varnishes and decorative coatings for metal cans and food cartons. Suggested levels of use are 2 – 5% w/w Speedcure EHA together with 0.2 – 3% w/w Speedcure ITX or BMDS (quantities vary depending on individual formulations and applications).
