SpeedCure 938

SpeedCure 938 by Lambson (Sartomer) is a antimony-free bis-(4-t-butylphenyl)-Iodonium hexafluorophosphate. Acts as a low yellowing cationic photoinitiator. Enables good adhesion to metal substrates. No release of benzene during cure. Compatible with cycloaliphatic epoxy resins, vinyl ethers, glycidyl ethers, oxetane, epoxidized olefins and other cationically cured materials. This initiator can be sensitized when used in conjunction with thioxanthones such as Speedcure ITX, Speedcure DETX and Speedcure CPTX. SpeedCure 938 is intended for use in non-silicone applications such as the cationic UV curing of inks. Used in clear coatings and thin films. Suggested levels of use are 3.0-5.0 %w/w of Speedcure 938 depending on the substrate used.
