SpeedCure TPO-L by Lambson (Sartomer) is a yellow colored ethyl (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl) phenyl phosphinate. Acts as an extremely efficient liquid Type I photoinitiator absorbing at 380 nm. Photo-fragmentation produces benzoyl and phosphinyl radicals that can initiate the polymerization of formulations containing acrylates, unsaturated polyesters and styrene. It exhibits low yellowing, low volatility and low odor. Cures coatings containing titanium dioxide. Gives good through-cure and can be used in water-based systems. SpeedCure TPO-L is suitable for f UV offset & flexographic inks, white pigmented UV lacquers, screen inks and overprint varnishes.
