SpeedCure BEM

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Lambson (Sartomer)
SpeedCure BEM by Lambson (Sartomer) is a eutectic mixture of benzophenone and methylbenzophenone. Acts as a highly efficient, liquid, non-yellowing photoinitiator. It initiates rapid polymerization of suitable resin formulations in conjunction with tertiary amine synergists. Helps reduce viscosity of formulations. Exhibits low odor, good solubility and compatibility with unsaturated monomers and does not contribute to photo yellowing. SpeedCure BEM is used in wood varnishes, packaging in printing industry, wood varnishes and decorative coatings for metal cans & food cartons. Suggested levels of use are 0.5 – 5% w/w Speedcure BEM together with 2 –5% amine synergist (dependent on formulations and applications).
