SpeedCure 937

SpeedCure 937 by Lambson (Sartomer) is an amber colored bis(4-dodecylphenyl) iodonium hexafluoroantimonate (iodonium hexafluoroantimonate salt dissolved in a glycidyl ether reactive diluent). Acts as a photoinitiator. Exhibits good solubility in many resin systems and low viscosity. In order to speed up the rate of curing, it can be used in conjunction with a sensitizer, such as Speedcure CPTX or polymeric Speedcure 7010. This liquid is not inhibited by atmospheric oxygen. SpeedCure 937 is suitable for epoxy silicone and UV cured release coating systems. This product can also be used in other cationic photo-catalysed curing reactions including cycloaliphatic epoxy resins, vinyl ethers, oxetanes and glycidyl ethers. Suggested levels of use are 1.0-3.0 %w/w of Speedcure 937 depending on the substrate used.
