Modified silicone. It acts as a flow control agent. Exhibits environment responsive nature. Provides excellent slipping effects. Doesn't easily make bubbles. Used for water-based- and solvent-based systems. Applications include architectural paints, floor coats, automotive refinishes and powder coatings. Also used in thermosetting paints such as coil coatings and car OEMs.
