Bis-[1-hydroxyl-2(1H)-pyridinethianato-O-S]-zinc. Acts as a biocide (anti-fouling agent, dry film preservative and anti-fungal). It is effective against a wide variety of pathogenic bacteria. It is used in coatings for floorings and for fungal protection of carpet backing. Suitable for anti-fouling paints and exterior paints. It helps in dry-film preservation of architectural- and industrial-paints and coatings. It complies with EC: 83/ 467 EC XI.
