Heat bodied linseed oil. Acts as an anti-rust agent and a plasticizer. Imparts good wetting and dispersing properties. Promotes good gloss and flow in enamels and produces hard films. Used in solvent based quick drying enamel to enhance the paint's brushability properties. These type of oils are also used as a vehicle or binder for most oleo-resinous varnishes. Recommended applications are wood finishes, lacquers, primers, undercoat and flat paints, mastics and printing inks.
