Polyplate® HMT is a high brightness, very high aspect ratio, delaminated kaolin, intended for use in water-borne coatings, adhesives, and sealants. It is a Hydrous aluminum silicate. The large, platy structure of Polyplate® HMT imparts increased hide, tinting strength, enamel holdout, crack resistance, and reinforcement properties in water based systems. Used in architectural and wood coatings.
