Acrylic polymer preparation. Acts as a thickening agent. It is environment-friendly, available at a very reasonable price and swellable by alkali. Provides water-, corrosion-, heat- and abrasion resistance. Suitable for pigmented coatings, aqueous coatings, paints, oil-based distempers, acrylic-bound distempers and plastic emulsion paints. Applications include marine, interior wall, traffic, anti-skid, and roof coatings.
