Modified polyester-PU (polyurethane) polymer. Acts as an adhesion promoter and wetting agent. It is a non-film forming polymeric additive. It is also safe and environment-friendly. Can either be added at the ink manufacturing stage to modify a basic formulation or added at press side at the discretion of the printer. Improves bond strength of lamination, adhesion of nitrocellulose resin systems on polyester surfaces, resolubility and substrate wetting. Works well with solvent-based digital ink systems. Used for printing on various materials, such as rubber, cardboard, papers, plastic cards, films, porous and non-porous substrates. Suitable for polyester laminating inks.
