XCS-Carb™ 30 by Imerys is a speciality calcium carbonate additive designed to meet the low crystalline silica needs of environment-friendly paint products. Suitable for water- & solvent based paints and industrial coatings. Exhibits enhanced opacity, improved rheological & mechanical properties and weathering resistance. Can be used in glossy architectural paints, road marketing paints and printing inks. XCS-Carb™ 30 is recommended for semi-gloss & eggshell architectural applications, undercoats, metal primers and powder coatings.
