HALOX® 570LS

ICL Corossion inhibitor
HALOX® 570LS by ICL is an organic corrosion inhibitor. It is a liquid version of HALOX® 570 (powder). It is designed for use in water-based industrial and decorative coatings. It provides flash rust and long-term corrosion protection on metal surfaces.
  • It is environmentally-friendly, nitrite-, phosphate- & heavy metal-free and can provide synergy with inorganic anti-corrosives.
  • It is especially effective along weld seams to prevent galvanic corrosion.
  • HALOX® 570LS can be used in formulations based on water-based acrylics, epoxy esters, 2 component epoxy, water reducible alkyds and water-based polyurethanes.
  • It is suitable for primers and direct-to-metal topcoats.
  • It has minimal effect on gloss reduction.
  • Recommended dosage level is 1-3% based on total formula weight.
  • It has a shelf life of 36 months.
