ICL Corossion inhibitor
HALOX® 650 by ICL is a zero-VOC, organic corrosion inhibitor. It is designed specifically for solvent-based or powder-coating applications to provide long-term corrosion protection, flash-rust inhibition, in-can rust prevention and improved adhesion performance.
  • It is primarily designed for coatings and primers on metal surfaces.
  • It can be used in applications such as coil coatings resins such as thermoplastic acrylics or epoxies, powder coatings systems such as polyester/TGIC, acid catalyzed thermosetting systems such as melamine or urea formaldehyde, and wash (etch) primers based on PVB.
  • It is suitable for solvent-based polyurethanes, short-, medium- & long oil alkyds and silicones.
  • It is also suitable for clear coats, thin films and aerospace coating.
  • The dosage level of the grade is 1-3% based on total formulation solids.
  • HALOX® 650 has a shelf life of 36 months.
