ECA-29

ECA-29 by Huntsman is a blend of aliphatic polyamines derived from ethylenediamine. It acts as a curing agent for epoxy resins. It is used in applications where high Tg (glass transition temperature) and fast reactivity are needed with longer pot-life. It has slightly low peak exotherm temperature and provides good working time until gelation. It can increase the level of crosslinking in fully cured epoxy due to its high functionality. ECA-29 is recommended for coatings. It is listed with DSL (Canada) and TSCA (United States).
