ACumist® D-6

ACumist® D-6 by Honeywell is a micronized polyethylene homopolymer. Provides minimal gloss reduction, good abrasion resistance, good slip and blocking resistance. Can also be used as a processing aid and gloss reducer in powder coatings. ACumist® D-6 has an average particle size of 6.0-7.5 microns and a maximum particle size of 22 microns. It is insoluble in solvents, UV-based monomers and oligomers at room temperature. Used in high-gloss, general-purpose solvent-borne coatings, stains, lacquers, gravure- and lithographic inks. It provides a good balance of properties where economics are of paramount concern. Approves indirect FDA regulation.
