A-C® 656 by Honeywell is a low density oxidized polyethylene (LDOxPE) homopolymer. Used in solvent-borne coatings as a rheological aid. It has a low hardness which makes it optimum for pourable or pumpable rheological dispersions. A-C® 656 can also be atmospherically emulsified for use in aqueous applications like coatings and inks, to lower the COF and provide surface properties such as mar & abrasion resistance and increased slip. It is an indirect FDA approved grade.
