EPIKURE™ Curing Agent 580

EPIKURE™ Curing Agent 580 by Westlake Epoxy is a light color, lower viscosity, modified cycloaliphatic amine curing agent. It offers enhanced yellowing resistance, tack-free surfaces and excellent mechanical properties. It improves sustainability because it does not contain intentionally added benzyl alcohol or nonylphenol. It has less than 10 ppm free BPA content. It can improve hardness development and early water spot resistance at 10°C. It is used to develop flooring formulations with lower indoor air emission coatings. In combination with liquid epoxy resins, EPIKURE™ Curing Agent 580 formulates ambient cure compositions of industrial flooring and water-based coatings. Recommended mixing ratio with EPON™ Resin 828 2 to 1 by volume is 44 phr. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
