Carbon black. Acts as a filler. Exhibits high blackness and strong tinting strength. Unaffected by light, acids and alkalis. It is a soft, fine particle size carbon pigment. Is obtained as soot from incomplete combustion of many different types of organic materials, such as natural gas and oils. Used in printing inks and water soluble coatings.
