Plasthall® TOTM-CA by Hallstar is trioctyl trimellitate. Acts as a plasticizer. Provides very low compound weight losses, exceptional retention of original elongation after air oven aging and excellent extraction resistance to a variety of polar as well as non-polar fluid. Plasthall® TOTM-CA is compatible with chlorinated rubber, epichlorohydrin, hydrogenated nitrile, hydrogenated rubber, polychloroprene and polyvinyl chloride. Imparts an excellent volatility resistance to PVC compounds, due to its relatively higher molecular weight.
