SYLOID® 162 C

SYLOID® 162 C by Grace is a synthetic, amorphous silica with an organic surface treatment. It functions as a medium porosity matting agent. Used for coil coatings, acrylate-based UV-curable systems, decorative paints, wood protective systems, air-and oven-dried industrial coatings. Due to its particle size and organic treatment, SYLOID® 162 C imparts excellent scratch resistance and a favorable gloss/sheen ratio to the coating film.
