PureRED TRINITY

PureRED TRINITY by Finnester is a halogen-free, fire-resistant coating system. It is based on an unsaturated polyester to deliver comprehensive fire and thermal protection. Designed for composite parts in infrastructure, marine, railway and transport industry. Exhibits a water-resistant, glossy finish with very low smoke generation and heat transfer to the substrate. It can be used as a gel coat or as a finishing coating system that can be applied with brush, roller or spray. Provides a 3 layered protection as PureRED TRINITY 500 finished coat (or alternative), PureRED TRINITY Z mid-layer coat and PureRED TRINITY Ti base-layer coat. The three individual products can be used separately as well. Layers are applied wet-on-wet, with Ti in contact directly with the composite substrate. If used as a (in-mold) gel coat system, the order of application is 500, Z and then Ti. If used as a (post-molding) finishing coating system, the order of application is Ti, Z and then 500. PureRED TRINITY is characterized by RAL colors, styrene-based, MEKP catalyzed system and a wide application window.
