FINAWAX VL

Low molecular weight polyamide wax. Acts as anti-block and slip additive in printing ink vehicles. Has got good solubility for co-solvent and makes a good blend with other polyamide resins for ink. Possesses good scratch and scuff resistance. Permits overprinting without loss of adhesion hydrophobic nature. Improves the adhesion of inks to the plastics surface. Also improves the tape test properties. It is a highly suitable additive for inks for corona untreated films. Is particularly useful additive when adhesion and scratch resistance are required. Used in gravure-flexo inks, off-set lithographic inks, carbon paper inks and in metal decorating inks.
