Varnifm™ Photoinitiator 907

2-Methyl-4'-(methylthio)-2-morpholinopropiophenone. Acts as a highly efficient photoinitiator. It is used to initiate the photopolymerization of chemically unsaturated prepolymers, e.g. acrylates, in combination with mono- or multi-functional vinyl monomers. Varnifm™ Photoinitiator 907, which undergoes a photoreaction, producing reactive species under absorption of light. It provides non-yellowing durability and longer shelf life for UV-curable systems. Can be used alone or in combination with other suitable co-initiators, such as Varnifm™ Photoinitiator 907, or photo sensitizer, for UV curable inks and varnishes for applications on paper, wood, metal as well as plastic materials. Its high absorbance makes it especially suitable for UV curable inks and coatings.
