VESTANAT® HT 2500 E

VESTANAT® HT 2500 E by Evonik is an aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate. It acts as a cross linker. It exhibits moisture sensitivity and low to medium viscosity. It possesses compatibility with 2K-PUR, polyesters, acrylates, flexible medium-oil or short-oil alkyd resins and other OH-group containing resins. VESTANAT® HT 2500 E exhibits outstanding weather resistance and light fastness. It improves drying performance, surface hardness, pot life and chemical resistance against environmental etch. Offers dilution in aromatics and esters. Applications are automotive OEM, car repair paints and maintenance-, wood-, industrial- & plastic coatings. Recommended urethane catalysts are zinc octoate, tin- or bismuth-catalysts if required to be used.
