VESTANAT® HB 2640 MX

VESTANAT® HB 2640 MX by Evonik is a combination of aliphatic polyisocyanate and biuret of hexamethylene diisocyanate. It acts as a cross linker. Exhibits moisture sensitivity. Possesses compatibility with 2K-PUR, polyesters, acrylates, flexible medium-oil or short-oil alkyd resins and other OH-group containing resins. VESTANAT® HB 2640 MX exhibits outstanding weather resistance and light fastness. Improves drying performance, surface hardness, pot life and chemical resistance against environmental impact. Offers dilution in aromatics and esters. Applications are wood-, industrial and plastic coatings. Recommended urethane catalysts are zinc octoate, tin or bismuth-catalysts if required to be used.
