Tego® Wet 265

Tego® Wet 265 by Evonik is a substrate wetting additive suitable for water-borne formulations. It possesses good recoatability and significant improvement in the wetting of wood pores (in wood coatings and stains). It exhibits additional flow promotion and low foaming. It enables uniform wetting for coatings and printing inks even on very low energy or contaminated surfaces. The defects in the coating surface such as cratering and poor leveling are minimized or improved. Tego® Wet 265 finds application in wood &furniture-, high build transport-, industrial-, automotive-, architectural and decorative coatings. Recommended dosage level is 0.2-1.5%. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
