TEGO® Phobe 1401 N by Evonik is an amino-siloxane emulsion for the hydrophobization of coating formulations. It provides good water resistance and high contact angles. It offers water beading effect and shows low tendency to pick up dirt. It is used in water-borne and solvent-free coatings. It is applicable in architectural paints and wood coatings. TEGO® Phobe 1401 N recommended dosage level is 1.0-8.0% on total formulation. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
