TEGO® Phobe 1409 by Evonik is a solvent-free hydrophobing agent. Offers very good early water resistance and water beading effect. Possesses low dirt pick-up and is suitable for ecolabel compliant formulations. Used in water-borne and pigmented formulations. Designed for architectural and wood coatings, silicone resin emulsion paints and plasters. It is recommended at a dosage rate of 1-8 %. TEGO® Phobe 1409 has a shelf life of 12 months at 4-40 °C.
