TEGO® Foamex 9

Tego® Foamex 9 by Evonik is a silicone-free, mineral oil technology-based, defoamer concentrate. It is a formulation of hydrophobic components and contains fumed silica. It shows long-term effectiveness and good compatibility with coating. It is recommended for high-viscosity formulations, pigment concentrates and silicone resin emulsion paints. It is designed for use in architectural paints and brush/roller application. It is used in waterborne formulations, dip-, flow- & curtain coating and flooring. It can be incorporated during the grind or let-down stage. The recommended dosage level of the grade is 0.1-1.0%. The shelf life of Tego® Foamex 9 is 12 months when stored in an original unopened packaging between -40 and 40°C.
