TEGO® Foamex 822

Tego® Foamex 822 is a defoamer by Evonik. Offers good long-term persistance. Exhibits high effectiveness combined with easy incorporation. Can be used universally in clear and pigmented formulations. Prevents foam formation during production and application of waterborne coatings and printing inks. Destroys pre-existing foam and prevents air occlusions. Suitable for waterborne formulations in wood and furniture coatings and parquet lacquers, printing inks and varnishes, industrial coatings, automotive coatings and leather coatings. Possesses the greatest possible effectiveness and compatibility especially when added to the let-down and in clear coats, owing to their optimized particle size. Main areas of applications include pure acrylic emulsion, styrene acrylic emulsion, vinyl and EVA emulsions, PU dispersions and hybrid systems. Tego® Foamex 822 has a shelf life of 12 months.
