TEGO® Dispers 678

TEGO® Dispers 678 by Evonik is solution of a high molecular weight polyester with pigment affine groups. Acts as a wetting- and dispersing agent. It is a high-performance, low viscosity product. Shows an excellent stable color/gloss (independent of the application method), very low rub-out results and strong reduction in viscosity with organic pigments/carbon blacks and inorganic pigments/fillers. It is clear soluble in ethanol & butyl acetate and cloudy but stable in TPGDA. Is insoluble in water and white spirit. TEGO® Dispers 678 exhibits excellent stabilization of all pigments and fillers and broad compatibility with all common binders. Highly compatible for mixed pigmentation of 2-pack 100% formulations based on acrylates and polyesters. Suitable for high-solids, medium-solids and solvent borne direct grinds in industrial coatings and other co-grinding systems. Also, used in resin-based and resin-free pigment concentrates. Recommended addition level for co-grind is 1.0 - 5.0%. Listed in EINECS.
