SURFYNOL® TG

Surfynol® TG by Evonik is a low-foaming, non-ionic wetting agent and grind aid for pigment and substrate wetting in aqueous systems. It is used in waterborne coatings. It offers a good reduction of equilibrium, greater color development, reduced pigment “cut-in” time and low foam. It provides enhanced color uniformity in brush-out, reduced water sensitivity and increased hiding power. It is used in the coverage of coatings applied on surfaces contaminated with oil, grease, dirt, or rust and metal surface coatings. SURFYNOL® TG has a recommended dosage level of 1-2% of total formulation weight.
