SURFYNOL® OP-340

Surfynol® OP-340 by Evonik is a surfactant, wetting agent as well as defoamer. It is designed to be compatible and to perform well with the various acrylic resins commercially utilized in aqueous overprint varnishes. It exhibits no adverse effects on gloss and scuff. It offers reduced water sensitivity compared to conventional surfactants and also reduced dynamic surface tension to allow rapid coverage of aqueous overprints applied over wet or dry solvent-based lithographic inks. Surfynol® OP-340 provides superior performance at reduced surfactant usage levels. It eliminates foam problems caused by conventional wetting agents.
