SURFYNOL® DF-58

SURFYNOL® DF-58 by Evonik is a highly efficient, organo-modified silicone-based defoamer. The product is suitable for water-based treatment formulations where strong, rapid defoaming is required. It exhibits rapid foam control, promotes quick knockdown defoaming and fast dissipation of process foam. It requires adequate mixing time to ensure optimum dispersion of the defoamer. It is used in industrial and maintenance coatings as well as in flexible packaging and other inks. It has a recommended dosage level of 0.05 and 0.5% of the total formulation weight. SURFYNOL® DF-58 has a shelf life of 18 months.
